I have Royaly cocked up and i am hopping you clever people can help me.

I have only gone and lost my only key for my Van so i am hopping any one can give me a list of parts i would need, ruffly how much it will cost also how to do it, if i don't happen to find it, what a wally it was all going so well :oops:

Ring vw up..they shoud be able to make u new key if u have logbook..dont take nothing apart..they shoud be able to make key from chassies number as long as u own van and its your name in logbook..simple

Thanks for the help mate.

Just spoken to a local dealer they have said it would need to be recovered to the van section for the key to be programmed?

Does that sound about right?

the key needs to be programed though, i doubt they can just make a new key that will work without coding.

I think a good local locksmith should be able to cut you a new key and programme it

Depends where in uk you are but could order key from tps and get vw roadside to code it :-) and get a free years vw breakdown cover Inc in price ? I could arrange the latter :-)

Would need check in morning

48hr replacement if can't be fixed
VW tech guys with genuine vw laptop and diagnostic equipment
No labour costs on parts fitted roadside
I am a vw roadside tech :-)

car or van insurance should cover the cost of replacing the key
