Caddy Newbie - Old school Vdubber

Post by HiGeof »

Hi all,

Well it looks as if I will be purchasing a Mk3 Caddy C20 1.9tdi 104bhp twin sliding door tomorrow.

So my questions are:

1 Where is the best place to get lowered Springs?

2 Where do I get a nice set of 18 inch wheels for it?

3 Where do I get it chipped?

I assume they are 112 PCD x 5 with 38 offset...please correct me if I am wrong.

They look like an up-to-date Frid to me.

I tell you more about the plans for it soon.

Geof

I am from the midlands Warwickshire near MIRA testing facility.

No - I am looking at buying secondhand mate.

Can you confirm the offset for the wheels mate?

The wheels you need are PCD 5x112 ET 35-54

I've heard of wheels from ET35 right the way up to ET54 working on the Caddy without any issues.
