I actually swapped a set of Merc Alphards that i as running on my golf for them. The ride is always going to be a little firmer compared to standard, but with the 235/35's and the adjustable damping on the v-max xxtreme coilovers the rides actually quite nice!!Gaj69 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 31, 2017 7:39 am Thanks for the reply, who did you source the wheels from and how is the ride compared to standard. I have shown the wife the pictures as she has always said Acapulco blue would not be a good colour for modding and even she agrees yours looks good. I'm not sure she will to happy if I order a couple of grands worth of wheels and suspension though.

Gutted! Another money making scam from VW you recon? You don't happen to have part numbers for the upgraded cards then do you?stan-the-man wrote: ↑Mon Jul 31, 2017 12:11 pm Lovely well wear and happy motoring buddy!
Unfortunately door pulls are part of door cards. Not available as separate part like fl van etc. The triggers are plastic welded in to door cards.
Thanks a lot

Small update!
Managed to get hold of an engine cover and hardware to fit. Makes the engine bay a lot more tidy i think.

Oil filler cap seal: 04L 103 164 (x1)

Ps Caddy life mirrors add these to your mods list its a Nice good looking color.
225 wide tires drives the best under a lowered Caddy in front. I Find 235 too heavy and searching on the road with steering and you'll recognise where trucks have driven way too fast, I'm driving a 103kw version. I use 19" 8,5J et42 wheels. Besides that... there is a difference in rear axles. The rear axle is wider than the 55kw and 75kw version.

I picked the wheels up on 'wheel trader UK' through Facebook. If i can find some BBS CH-R wheels then these might be for sale!

Tweedy's Caddy 4 - Acapulco Highline
Wow, I haven’t been on here in a while! Mind you, not that much has been happening with my Caddy either - I’ve been a little distracted with other projects.
I think the mods that I haven’t posted about are as follows:
Rear windows limo tint
New TRC front splitter
Anthracite wheels now silver
Rear of the van insulated and rubber matting down
I’ve had the van in for the sides to be carpeted which looks much nicer than the plain wood
I’ve also managed to find a camping bed that fits perfectly.
Hoping to get myself a Kenwood DNX 525DAB this week too.
Here’s some pictures anyway!
Splitter on - coilovers are all the way down
Wheels to silver
Carpeted walls and rubber matting floor with camping sofa bed
Il get some more recent pictures soon! I wasn’t too sure about the wheel colour choice at first, but they look cleaner for a lot longer now, plus it looks better when rolling!
Thanks for looking!

Nice! Same colour and highline as mine Was wondering what wheel colour would go nice with acapulco blue and this looks spot on.
Anthracite wheels suites colour better in my opinion, but that's down to personal taste. Surprised you find silver wheels stay clean for longer, mine look filthy in no time.

Hi mate, what a lovely van that blue is something else! What camping bed did you find? I spent ages trying to find one that would fit between the wheel arches, and mine still needs some tweaking to fit

The bed I got was a one from Argos of all places. The dimensions were somewhere near, then I just moved the arches in a touch. Spot on fit now though, couldn’t get any tighter!!JD2k wrote:Hi mate, what a lovely van that blue is something else! What camping bed did you find?
