Good work but surely all that dynamat and insulation adds a good bit of weight

Just read through this entire build. I intend to use mine in part for mountain biking so definitely looking to steal some of these ideas. Thanks for sharing your progress. In particular love the leisure battery and bike washer. Although I feel this may be beyond my capability.

My Mountain Biking Camper Caddy build

Fitted LEDs under the bed that turn on when the bed is lifted

Permanently fixed the jet wash hose to the pump and fitted a net to hold the hose when not in use, no more fannying about, just wash n go

That jet wash idea is awesome.. going to have to steal that idea and use it on mine.

Awesome build mate. Hoping to do simular to mine, i think a bed will bave to fold up or something though as that takes up alot of space.

Great build thread.
Lots of ideas to take.

I want to do something similar but with a row of rear seats so was thinking:
- Pull out bed on the side of the double seat, utilising the fold flat seats for the extra bed length
- Remove the single seat when transporting bikes so the wheels can go in that space at a bit of an angle (hoping to get them in without taking the front wheel off)

Think that's do'able?

Nice build so far! This thread has given me some decent ideas for when I eventually get a caddy!

Yes you can get a down hill bike in without taking the front wheel off, id go for a long wheelbase just to be sure

great build. exactly what I'm hoping to do with mine. would like to have it all ready for ard rock 2018. the water pump can double up to feed a gas shower too as the ones there this year were skank and broke.

keep up the good work

Hi love this camper,
Is all the sound deadening to make it quieter when driving?
Just deciding if I want to do it or not. Thanks
