Tailored Seat covers front and back

Post by Davy1968 »

Fitted these to my caddy maxi today and thought that you guys on the forum may be interested in them as an alternative to retrimming.
They are from Gte custom vans in pontefract if anyone wants some for theirs
Cheers for looking

Similar to the ones that Bentley do on eBay, were they easy to fit?

The 2 seater n single were very straightforward as they come out easy any way...just need to be a bit heavy handed with them pulling into position...Rob at Gte said standard caddy van seats can be fitted on the front bases with out taking them out
Mine have trays n trims so just disconnected air bag multiplug and undid the four bolts and took em out to do in the garage
All discreet zips and ties and cords holding them in a tight fit...im really impressed with them
Particularly when retrimming quotes for 5 seats starting at £1300

I have the same covers in my van :D
I fitted some after market heated seat panels before I put them on. I’m really happy with them, obviously I’d prefer Scirocco R seats but it’s a daily and I’m on a budget...
If it ain't broke, fix it 'til it is

I know what you mean!!
Did you put the heater panel on top of your existing base b4 putting new cover on and was that pretty reasonable on cost?? And easy to do?

Yeah just stuck them onto existing fabric them put covers on
The full kits was about £80, 4 pads, 2 controllers and 2 switches for the panel in front of the gear lever.
I just tapped into the fuse box for the live feed and the cig lighter for the panel lighting. If you want to be really picky the led is green not red, no I didn’t change it but I am thinking to get OEM controller and heater panel. What was that about a daily

This is the kit I used seems a bit cheaper now

Had seen these seat covers and liked them but never thought of putting the pads in underneath instead of getting new seats..pity the lights are green on the switches that would drive me crazy haha
