Re: My Blackberry Caddy
You definitely need the touran ash tray and surround.
Will look totally different when all the plastic is painted darker. What you doing on the headliner?

Re: My Blackberry Caddy
Yeah it's great, a big improvement over the caddy dash.
Not sure whether to cover the roof liner or just paint it. I'm thinking it'll be ok to paint it as its never going to get touched so no wear and tear on it.
Can't decide what I'm doing with the stereo surround and the trim above it (which is currently silver ) with the storage box. Matt black, wrap them or paint them blackberry?

Re: My Blackberry Caddy
I thought about painting my headliner but opted for carpet, also had some left over off doing the rear.
Colour code all the trims, I think it looks better. I opted for gloss black with having a white van but I think blackberry will look

My Blackberry Caddy
Here you go, not the best pictures
If you do the dash and door trims, the thin strips, blackberry why not try a thin line of gold to maybe match your alloys?

My mate suggested a gold accent but if I ever change my alloys it won't match anything

Re: My Blackberry Caddy
Haha never thought of that, you’ll just have to keep buying gold alloys then

I have just covered mine using a 3mm foam backed headlining material work great! And I’ve just painted the parcel shelf satin black and blacked out all the other bits to go with it. I’ll get some pics up once I’ve got it all fitted back in the van.

My Blackberry Caddy
I’m pretty much all done with the trims all painted dark grey to match the existing dark trims. Think I’m going to flock the A pillar trims tomorrow rather than paint them, just to add a nice bit of texture.
This is the plastic paint I use, Upol Plast-X. It’s available in black and benefits different shades of grey. Give the trims a rub down with a scotchbrite pad and some matting paste. Then go over them with a light coat of adhesion promoter (forgot to take a picture but it’s Upol too).
Apply light coats drying in between with a heat gun. It took 3 coats to cover the light coloured trim.
Leaves a nice oem looking finish
I done the parcel shelf, sun visors, interior light, alarm sensor housing, grab handles and the trims where the seatbelts are bolted near you shoulder. Roof lining was painted matt black.
Dash is done apart from colouring the top centre trim and still need to buy 2 other small pieces to finish completely. Also need to get a Passat W8 interior light.

I don't know actually New shape custom rear bumper maybe. Will be chasing a bit more power at some stage but it HAS to be reliable.
