Get ready to play 'spot the new bits' either at Early Edition or in the photos as I've heard 2 details that got missed earlier have been installed

Re: Caddy R360 build thread
Doc has come to the rescue again and sorted an issue we had with the tailgate. When it was first converted the wiring looms were not available so Matt at Reflex custom made one. Only issue was the ignition had to be on for the handle to work. I bought the 2 looms once they were available and Matt was able to get them plugged in but some wires needed to be swapped round at both the plug and BCM and that took the skills of Doc to fault find and get working and so a huge thank you goes to him for taking the time to travel to the caddy and fix it.
I have been working on the tailgate doorcard which I finished today. Its a sheet of 2mm carbon fibre which I cut to size and then bonded an infill panel to which covers where the wiper motor would be. Will be installed using rubber grommets with captive nuts and some torx bolts with countersunk washers.

Re: Caddy R360 build thread
Can you stop with all the carbon fibre already.
I'm hoping this gets used very soon.
As always, a pleasure to be of assistance to you. The new details are ace.
Enjoy actually getting to drive it this weekend.

Re: Caddy R360 build thread
My carbon fetish will never be satisfied! I’m very slightly nervous of driving it for 2 reasons, 1 is everybody else on the road and 2 some of it is untested by me and I can be paranoid at the best of times. I’m looking forward to after the show as I can give it a bit more and not be too concerned about keeping it clean.

Re: Caddy R360 build thread
Something I forgot to put up was a concept t-shirt I was working on. Idea was to have it for shows so people knew who I was. The caddy is a drawing done by me in illustrator and photoshop where it uses the t-shirt background colour to create the main colour of the caddy and everything you see is a block of colour or grey/black, not one bit of this is a photo.
Obviously needs updating with the new bumper and show wheels plus I want to have the R360 logo somewhere.

I was thinking the same thing, from cake making to digital art and a lot in between.

Re: Caddy R360 build thread
And here are 2 details that got sorted in time.
Modified a Golf 5 door pull setup made by Rennline to work on the caddy and some more carbon!
And this was hiding under the alcantara. Audi TT hazard switch finally fitted.
