Just double check it’s not touching the inner wheel arch mine was rubbing a bit. Just oval the holes and push them up a bit.

Re: Whitey's White Caddy 4
we have these shitty speed mounds not regular bumps as such so you would have to drive around them or bust your sump
first caddy i had a went to drive down a narrow lane and caught the sub frame on the ground and she couldnt go any further so took it home and pulled the coilovers back out - pointless having a van for work and leaving it parked almost a mile from the customers house and carrying your tools in ♀️

Re: Whitey's White Caddy 4
I’m thinking of lowering my van but yours looks VERY low, probably too low for me. I know the front is adjustable but what about the rears? Is yours on the lowest setting all round?
How is the ride at that height? I’m worried that it will make my teeth shake out and loose all the comfort?
I’m currently on stock suspension with 17’s and I don’t feel much of the road at all (I also roll in to the next lane when Corning hard lol).

Re: Whitey's White Caddy 4
@Caddyluv - Cheers for the heads up mate. I ended up removing the rear inner covers for now. I think I'm going to cut away the upper section and re-fit them
@Dhallett1 - Believe it or not the ride feels pretty normal, it's still quite soft tbh. I have another 3 notches left on the back and still loads of thread on the front so tempted to go a bit lower yet too. Gonna fit my front splitter and see if i can get a bit more drop
That made me chuckle Liam but a fair point

Re: Whitey's White Caddy 4
Look how ugly it looks without the arches. 🤮🤮 yeah just cut a little hole at the top. Also push the arches up and tighten the screw. That helps to.

Re: Whitey's White Caddy 4
Today I decided to paint my calipers. Painted them insitu which in hindsight probably wasn’t the best idea. In fact if I had to do it again I’d probably take them off completely and have them powder coated. Colour wise prob not everyone’s cup of tea. Not even sure it’s mine but it’s what I had in mind from the start. Bought an e-tech paint kit. Nothing like the yellow colour on the box but thought maybe it dries lighter. Nope. After the first was done there was no turning back.Took a while to do as each coat needs 30 mins drying time. It took 5 coats per caliper as the paint is really thin. In between coats I put some ‘cylinder black’ on my hubs and top edge of the brake discs to tidy things up a bit. Anyways... I’ll stop moaning about the £12 paint kit I bought ha! It’s actually dried quite nice and glossy. Gonna give them a wipe over with some gtechniq C5 when they’ve had a bit more drying time
Colour on the box....
Door strips removed today too for colour coding. Surprisingly they came away without leaving any foam or glue... which is a big fat lie ha!

I like it. You can do the interior like this T5.

Re: Whitey's White Caddy 4
Nice one Ryan, but tbh that's probably it for the yellow now. I owned a yellow Leon Cupra R for the past 13 years
PS - do you have a highline cluster? My van's a highline but has a midline cluster... meh!

Re: Whitey's White Caddy 4
Tbh mate, mine might as well be a trendline. Some of the best highline features it has are mirrors in the sun visors and auto dimming rear view mirror which is pointless as it has factory blacked out rear windows haha!
Yes that would be awesome. My mate has a new TT and the instrument display is amazing... turns into sat nav and all sorts
