Ex BG Maxi Radio antenna problems

Morning all!

I would post this in the Maxi only section or do a full forum search but unfortunately I don’t have access yet!

So yeah, I’ve heard two things regarding the antennas.

1. It’s in the drivers side Mirror
2. It’s in the windscreen

Can anyone confirm what to look for to aid me in finding which I’ll have?

It’s a 2010 (Facelift) Maxi.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

My 2011 Gas van has the aerial in the drivers mirror.

I swapped out one of the roof aerials for a dab unit off Amazon, combined with a used RCD310 the difference in quality is excellent. Well worth the £100 it cost me for radio, aerial & adaptor.

Swapped out one of the British Gas aerials for a dab aerial in my tea break. Just had to open up the hole to 20mm with a cone cutter. Next job is to route the cables to the head unit..

Think I'm going to do similar and use one of the 3 aerial points when it comes to fitting a DAB aerial.
