Not yet mate work sent me on a last minute trip so not been able to book the van in yet hopefully next week it’ll be going in! Already priced up a custom front and rear bumper but need to save some pennies first

Did you fit and timber for the Saris Tracks bed bike rack? How did you fix it down?

I marked out the positions for the holes on the ply for the Saris Tracks. Drilled the 6 holes large enough to fit these threaded T-nuts and then hammered them into the ply from the underside. So 6 bolts hold down the Saris Tracks to the ply which allow it to be removed easily. When I put down the rubber flooring on top of the ply, I added the same 6 holes to allow the bolts to go through. I’ve fixed the ply down to the bed of the van separately using separate screws.

Fantastic info thanks very much. Did you fix the ply directly to the van floor?

Yeah I’ve fixed the ply down to the bed of the van separately using self tapping screws. These were already in when I bought the van.

The long awaited day arrived..Finally got the van lowered yesterday! Pretty pleased with how it’s sitting on the ST X kit and the rideImage
I will probably look at getting the RAD rear axle relocating plates fitted at some point.
It’s definitely due a wash!

Thanks mate Definitely, the van looks so much better now. A lot less swaying about when going round corners!

That’s always my fear taking on a big job like that haha! It’s always better knowing you’ve managed to do it yourself. It’s probably a good height for these winter roads
