OK thanks Ryan

Once I’ve found a solution for the 3rd brake light you can probably have this one. As you say it will look better on the Blackburry defo.

I have used Lamin-x film to tint the rear lights on my previous car. This might be an option, but its hard to tell from the pictures which shade you may need. I have used 6% and it gave me nice dark-ish red.

Thanks for the offer, but I have a tailgate not barn doors, so I expect fit is different.

@mark1a

Yeah it is. I forgot, I did know that. 🤦🏻‍♂️ Soz

@Giddy
I have thought about film. I have a couple of issues with that.

1 over time it will Matt and need replacement time and time again.

2 the shade will be total guess work.

3 I only need 1 inch x 3 inch bit.

So what I’m possibly looking at is putting some black paint in so gloss to tint it that way so it stays glossy and I can keep it glossy.

Been having a little trouble with my folding caddy life mirrors, since I done the LEDs in the door cards. I guess it was when I took the plugs out the module. They were working fine on the switch but intermittent on the key. So I thought I would see if I opened and closed them, relearn like you do with the windows. So I did it 3 times. So far works amazing has done for 4 days now. I don’t know if this is common knowledge but it’s worked for me.

Done couple things today. Before lunch. ImageImageImage

Silicon hose between bulkhead and B pillar stop the new squeak. Hidden away fingers crossed. ImageImageImage

Tinted rear reflectors fitted. Soooooooo much dirt. That must of saved some MPG.

Done few stone chips on the front. Not a lot today but those fussy little things you want to do but can’t be arsed.

So as you know I put in a van x third break light and I didn’t like it. To black didn’t look like the factory rear lights. So today I got some smokey tint.

First go I used the heat method. It left micro bubbles. So I used the soapy water method with heat. Which worked better.

If you look close on the finish edge. Just left it to cool and it’s stuck the edges properly.
