2012 odometer whilst driving?

Hi there is there a way I can display my total odometer whilst driving(like the picture shows) instead of it changing to display kph in its place? Image

if you turn off cruise control it will revert to odometer i think - thats assuming u have cruise control as thats how my 2016 works

No, it flips over to Kph as it's apparently a requirement to pass an mot as your clocks only show Mph.

our irish ones show kph i assumed thats what he regerred to

The UK main clocks show Mph but the little display flips to Kph when you drive off. It's annoying as I'd rather it stayed on the total mileage but apparently it's a requirement.

so this is what i get while cruise control is on but not active i have no current total mileage

The original poster has a midline instrument cluster, on this cluster the bottom line shows the trip distance, the next line from the bottom shows odometer when stationary and kmh when moving.
I don't think there is any way around it on the midline instrument cluster.

Can the country be changed to Australia with VCDS as the highline can?

This adds the option of turning off "Alt Speed Display"..

Where do you get this option on the midline instrument cluster? There is no "settings" screen.

Do you have to change the midline instrument cluster to get the same cluster as Liam or can you change with VCDS?

Now that's a question close to my heart as I think I have the midline & It's very basic. If you could change some of the screen options via VCDS, that would be ace.
