2012 odometer whilst driving?
Hi there is there a way I can display my total odometer whilst driving(like the picture shows) instead of it changing to display kph in its place?

No, it flips over to Kph as it's apparently a requirement to pass an mot as your clocks only show Mph.

Re: 2012 odometer whilst driving?
The UK main clocks show Mph but the little display flips to Kph when you drive off. It's annoying as I'd rather it stayed on the total mileage but apparently it's a requirement.

Yes it would be interesting to know if a Kph flips to Mph?

Re: 2012 odometer whilst driving?
The original poster has a midline instrument cluster, on this cluster the bottom line shows the trip distance, the next line from the bottom shows odometer when stationary and kmh when moving.
I don't think there is any way around it on the midline instrument cluster.

Can the country be changed to Australia with VCDS as the highline can?
This adds the option of turning off "Alt Speed Display"..

Re: 2012 odometer whilst driving?
Where do you get this option on the midline instrument cluster? There is no "settings" screen.

Re: 2012 odometer whilst driving?
Do you have to change the midline instrument cluster to get the same cluster as Liam or can you change with VCDS?Doc wrote: ↑Mon Dec 03, 2018 11:38 pm The original poster has a midline instrument cluster, on this cluster the bottom line shows the trip distance, the next line from the bottom shows odometer when stationary and kmh when moving.

Re: 2012 odometer whilst driving?
Now that's a question close to my heart as I think I have the midline & It's very basic. If you could change some of the screen options via VCDS, that would be ace.
