Caddy 4 vents

Post by ViralEye »

Anyone know how they come out? I've got a trim removal tool up the sides of it but it doesn't want to come out so don't want to keep trying if I'm just going to break something. Also looking at getting the surround out as well

The surrounding doesn’t come out. It’s part of the dash.

I'm sure I've seen caddy life surrounds though off the dash? Or is that just a sick on section?

There held in place by the new vents that’s why the life trim is so expensive it’s because you get new vent to.

Bugger, so it's an all in one piece? Looks like I'll be trying to vinyl the surrounds then

Coz it’s lumpy your find it very difficult for the vinyl to stick, so you will have to very careful sand it. Yeah the life trim is 1 long part, plus the vents and a small bit drivers side. You reuse the airbag and hazard button. Sorry buddy us caddy 4 owners are all in the same boat.
