Gas van build
Got myself an ex BG gas van last summer and after reading so many build threads I thought I’d start my own. It may not be as fast paced as some of the others! This was the van when I purchased her.

Also replaced the radio with the rcd330. Was really unsure of this radio as it was so cheap but after reading as many posts on the forum as I could find I decided to go for it.
When removing the parrot kit that was installed by the previous owner I found this glorious hole in my dash.

Re: Gas van build
A week later I took her in for lowering with H&R front spring and darkside rear kit. Sits much better.
The next day I took her in for a remap which I was told took her up to 152BHP which I can fully believe. The difference is brilliant... the fuel consumption is not. Haven’t decided if it’s the map itself or if it’s me being a lot more throttle happy now that it responds.

That’s just how mine looked when I picked mine up 15 months ago.
I’ve had fun doing mods to and still not finished

Re: Gas van build
Sean I have followed your build for some time. It looks great. You are a few steps ahead of me with your build. I have done a bit to my van and will update this thread as I can.... a bit new to this still

Finally fixed the largest cup holders ever installed with a brilliant 3D printed insert.
May have to colour match it in time

Upgraded the indicator repeaters with these LED’s. Had to fit resistors to stop the fast flash bulb warning when indicating.

Re: Gas van build
Last of the goodies from the weekend was the auto headlight switch. It flashes the headlights four times when I turn ignition on and then works flawlessly on auto but does not flash if I just leave it set to the headlight position. Not sure I have the right switch.
