Re: Adrian’s Silver Caddy Work Van
I've done a few bits to the van recently, finished carpeting the racking and added a few other bits in bobs in the rear. Also decided to plastidip the rear windows and get rid of the rear wiper!

Re: Adrian’s Silver Caddy Work Van
Haven't done anything to the van in a while but this weekend I've had a chance to do a few bits, bought some touran door strips which were already silver but had a few marks so decided to spray them. Not finished yet though as the lacquer I bought was crap any ran out of a spare tin I had doing the rear door handle.

Re: Adrian’s Silver Caddy Work Van
I've also been tweaking the back even more.
Made a drawer aswell waiting on carpet and some sliders to finish it off, I may put a false floor in there aswell with a hinge flap on the front to access my rods and long drill bits then the top half can be for storage or for my drills, undecided yet.

A few more from this weekends efforts
Gave these and the rear door handle a final coat of lacquer
Carpeted the drawers and added some tiny castors as the sliders are shorter than the drawer so they take the weight off a bit.

Re: Adrian’s Silver Caddy
Added some elastic to these to stop them falling out
I had some spare carpet so decided to sort out the threshold as it was scratched to buggery.
Rear door plinth installed
Forgot to mention the other week I had it remapped
I've also bought a snow foam lance which is more satisfying than it should be

Re: Adrian’s Silver Caddy
Had some time to do a few extras this weekend
This sucked, instantly regretted it anybody know anything that will strip the glue off with ease for the other side?

Worst job ever!!! I've done mine twice.
There are no magic solutions. Panel wipe and your thumb is the only safe way if you don't want to ruin your paint. A toffee wheel will get it off but I wouldn't touch my paintwork with one personally.

Re: Adrian’s Silver Caddy
It's devastating knowing I have no choice but to the other side now
Yeah I expect that would do the job I guess I'm just hoping someone will come on here knowing an exact thing that basically makes it just wipe off.
