Had mine a week today, was clean when I got it, I’ll get on it at the weekend and give it a good clean and polish whilst I fit my engine bits,

Trip to Halfords Saturday morning then, don’t think I’ve got a sponge

Right well here’s the plan and boring interior at the moment,

Already seem to have digital mph on the clocks, and needle sweeps Image

Only just noticed it having a play before work

Haha the cables are restricted to only work on a couple vehicles unless you spend more , would be able to use the one I’m getting on 3 vw’s

No pics but I’ll do that tomorrow, annoyingly my fitting kit for the engine cover hasn’t arrived,

But I’ve ordered some black carpets for the front as I’ve got the rubber matting

and an accent handle light kit cheers to caddyluv

Just a w8 interior light and well while I’m running wires about up there it makes sense to get the auto light/ wiper sensor and wiring to

Ah got you on the Vin :)

Typical the kit hasn't arrived all at the same time, just when you want to get on with the job as well.

Black carpets could be nice, i still got the rubber mats as well which are a touch annoying.

Accent light, rain sensor and light could def be interesting.

let me know how you get on.

I got one major job at the moment and thats fit a rear camera to the van, but slightly nerved about trying to run cables form my barn door etc, might jsut get my local auto electrician in and do it.

Yea I’m slightly annoyed, I might go vw and see if they’ve got them in tomorrow morning,

And then just sell the kit when i comes in, or well you might need one haha,

You’ll be fine with the camera mate, only got to get it through the rubber between the door and chassis, hardest but is removing panelling in yours as it’s carpeted isn’t it.

As for autolights yea no worry’s, you can get a cheap Chinese kit that works but it going for the oem install I think,

There’s a chip on my windscreen so could change it then I can get one with the mount on
