But surely being on the roof it wouldn't get any direct sunlight? Will buy some and try anyway but thanks for the heads up ImageImageImage

Almost finished my sound deadening but I ran out, got one wheel arch, both lower sliding doors and floor left to do, fitted my reversing camera but it was a cheap one and I don't think it will last as it sticks out and as soon as some water sits on it I'm guessing it will fail, was originally gunna run the camera off the reversing lights but when the engine was running it appeared to have a disturbance on the image so ran another 12v ignition live and used the reversing light to energise a relay and powered it that way no problems ImageImageImageImageImage

Nice work. It’s great to see what’s involved in quietening the back down. I’ve got a Crewvan coming soon, and can’t wait to get started.

So I wanted al fixings to be hidden so I decided to go abit of a different way, I glued and screwed blocks of timber in the the side wall recesses and the made some panels, cut the hole out speakers then screw them in, insulated and also sound barrier added to hopefully improve speaker clarityImageImageImageImageImage

Got both of the side panels carpeted, not as hard as I thought, just found it hard to get in to the corners where the wheel arch, side and rear panels meetImageImageImage

Once the floor sound deadening was done I fitted the flooring, the wood was abit warped so used some weight to keep it flat, used gorilla glue to glue it in place, hoping will never have to get it upImageImageImage

Still got the roof to get in, buy the bulk head delete b pillar parts, got the touran door cards, and then decide what I'm doing on the side and barn doors carpet wise

It's been a very busy weekend, I fitted the cab headlining and parcel shelf which I covered in 4 way stretch suede, I have been think about a hook up for the van so bought a small consumer unit and ran the cables, the consumer unit is in the parcel shelf out of the way, I also insulated and fitted the rear headlining, I originally planned to use the hidden clips but not sure if I ordered rubbish ones but there snapping and no way holding up the lining, so decided the drill out some of the holes and pop-nut them and used some face anodised button bolts I had lying around to fix it in place, really happy with it actually. Also painted the sun visors and used seat grab handles and interior lightImageImageImageImageImageImage
