Hey caddy owners,
I’m putting speakers into the wheel arch boxes I’ve made and I was wondering if there’s a howto on where the wiring goes? Obviously I know to take to the back of the radio, but does the normal loom at the quad lock have a wire for rear speakers?
Any suggestions to where to wire them??
Thanks

Hey buddy.
You will need to add missing wires into back of the radio plug. You just need to get few female junior power timer terminals and crimp them on wires and possibly will need to change the coding with vcds to enable the rear speakers too.
Depending which caddy and radio you have oem radios pre mk4 Caddy should have sticker with plug connections layout

I have a aftermarket kenwood stereo! Would I still need coding for that?
Could you link me to the right terminals?
Are they just a push in job?
Thanks for the reply!

Sure you’ll need something between 1-2.5 wire gauge as I imagine you’re using that’s size of wiring for them?
If it’s aftermarket radio then no coding is required buddy
