@novakid If it’s the join on the two bumpers, they were hit stapled, plastic welded, filled and sanded. Took a lot of time and patience but well worth the effort

Sorry totally misread thatImage

If it’s that grill it’s a touran centre grill with the chrome strip, but I had it sprayed gloss black and the strip and behind the badge sprayed red

Ahh right I’m with you now, there’s that many.

You can buy it from vw for £240ish or there are cheaper copies on eBay

I decided to go with a cheaper one as at the time couldn’t justify spending another chunk of change at the time

Took advantage of an early finish last night, trip to a breakers for a panel but they didn’t have one, but I couldn’t help myself and came away with a set of front hubs.

Also washed and quick detailed it

Hopefully give it a polish over the weekend

Today I picked up a few parts from the painters and also picked my spare steel wheel up from the powder coaters

Just got to clean and seal it, can’t be putting a rusty wheel in the van Image

Had a bit of a productive afternoon, installed the sunlight sensor and got the last metal support out to expose the rear footwells.

Was left with this bracket

Does this need cutting down?

Not had much time to do much lately other than to keep it clean

Also last week got this parcel in the post

So that’ll be my little project over the next couple of weeks

Not been up to much lately, but my little project is still going on slowly in the background.

Today I get this in the post today

Image

Got a couple of questions regarding it. I’m aware that I’ll need a special module to make the cruise work off the wheel. I have a 05 van but will I be able to use the newer stalks and slip ring with it?

Could someone point me in the direction of where I could find the part no for the airbag, I don’t mind reading through myself

I also got my new caddy2k stickers in the post

Nice mate, I had to fit Two additional modules on my 14 plate, one for the phone and another for the controls plus I had to install basic stalks (without cruise). You’re best of contacting Spacewalker as he will confirm if what’s required with your slipring etc (you will need to sent him a recent autoscan).

Cheers pal I’ve been after one for ages, they all seem to be pricey with damage or extremely pricey with none and I got this for a bargain.

I knew I’d have to get in touch with spacewalker for one of his super duper modules. Did you you get both off him?

At present I have cruise off the stalk and will have to revert back to normal stalks and that’s why I was wondering if the newer shape golf stalks would work on mine.
