Lowered rear off van
Depends how low you want to go. I’ve lowered vans with a standard lowering kit and used standard shocks with no problems. However, if you want to use an ultra low kit I would then use shortened shocks, as I have now on my van. I have Gaz shortened shocks with a 20 point damping adjustment and cant fault them. Cheap to at less than £150 for a pair. Hope this helps

You’ll be fine then matey! I ran this van with normal shocks and Eiback 60mm lowered spring only kit and standard rear flip kit for over a year with no issues at all and 20” wheels

Re: Lowered rear off van
I’d say you are just about fine with standard shocks on there matey, but i’m no expert just going on my personal experience.
Yes that was my first van a few years ago on Audi 20” wheels. The rear spoiler is a CSR item from Germany (ebay), they only make them for tailgate though but I adapted that for a barn door by splitting it. Let me know if you want a link and some pics of what i did. Im not keen on any other roof spoilers tbh mate as they dont fit well and too small in my opinion. Quite like the linrs of the CSR and fitment is bang on

Re: Lowered rear off van
Pretty straight forward depending on what skills you have. But any bodyshop could do it with ease!
I fitted the complete spoiler first, bonding it on both doors as it you were fitting it on to a tailgate. I then ran a laser line up in line with the gap between the 2 doors ti mark the cut line. Mark it and use an oscillating saw to cut it once the adhesive has completely hardened (next day). Open both doors the and trim a little off each end to give you about a 3 ish mm gap so the doors can open nicely. As the spoiler is hollow plastic, and great quality really i filled the ends with expanding dense foam to form a recess and made an end piece for each end with a piece of number plate, bonding it tightly into the ends with a good quality PU adhesive pushing it in to form a 2 or 3mm recess to fill and finish then paint

Re: Lowered rear off van
They really look ace i think and make the van look really sporty. Any help you want just shout mate but its really really no big deal to prep it for a painter if you are reasonably competent and have good common sense. Its all i have lol
