Awning recommendations for side door on swb caddy

Post by Caddy bridge »

As above is there any good quality side awnings for my swb caddy for occasional camping trips?

Any recommendations?

Thanks

I have just ordered an Outhouse Handi XL drive away awning for mine. Says it works for vans 1.80 and taller. Mines is just under that as it’s lowered but will give it a try. Read a review online where they tested it and a few others for small vans. They test van for a NV200 Nissan and they said it worked well on that. Not overly expensive at £150 so thought it’s worth a try

Do you need an enclosed awning? I am using a good quality tarp i already had.

Non scratch bungy hooks and two telescopic tarp poles. Quick simple and makes a nice sheltered area.

I have had full awnings before on camper vans and found them hassle if moving regularly. Rob
