Dirty D banger project

Post by Tyler »

Well I have always loved Caddys but never got round to owning one. So after a lot of searching I picked one up 3 weeks ago.

Think the only upgrades was the stance + coil overs Audi wheels and VW touran front bumper everything else is stock as far as I am aware.

It has also had a new set of cams randomly

Here's a few pics when I picked it up.

front seats had to be changed as drivers one was broken so thought I would also fit touran door cards and arm rest.

Image

also fitted new left sliding door lock as was temperamental. Having an issue though as when you open the door it does not recognise that the door is open

Image

had to fit the little heater knobs as they look so much better then the originals

Image

wired in the new stereo and wired up amp and sub

Diy sunstrip from some cheap window tint, also added my little touches. I know I am going to get a lot of hate but I like to be a little different.

Installed touran Xenons but have run in to some issues so need to try and figure out what the problem is. It's really strange you can turn the ignition on and the lights work perfect but as soon as you turn the engine on they flicker like crazy.

Image

Been told to just get rid of the new lights and just use old with HID adaptor but these lights look so sweet on. hope I figure it out soon lol

Does the touran bumper just bolt straight on?

as far as I am aware yes. it came with the touran bumper already on. so i think all you would need is the bumper and the grill

Mine started out as an odd job van when I was renovating a house, one mod leads to another few mods with caddy’s, the forum doesn’t help as there’s so many good ideas and people make it look easy 😂
