Another question from me.
Factory order but planning on replacing the seats pretty much immediately. If I want to use heated seats and electric lumbar support on Audi seats then I assume I should spec heated seats on the factory order so I get the button and wiring?
Also, should I bother with the Winter Pack if the plan is to fit an Eberspacher D2 thingy?
Thanks
Spec heated seats if planning on replacing them?

Yes much easier later on if you spec it from factory. Of course all depends if your seats have any type of electric movement or support but you’ll have all the important bits in place already for heating at least.
Isn’t winter pack in UK heated washer nozzles, headlight washers and heated seats combined?

“Winter pack. Includes headlight washers, heated washer jets,
washer fluid level indicator, heated driver’s and front passenger seats and electric auxiliary air heater. Electric auxiliary heater (ATC) is not included with petrol Caddy models.”

I was asking the question about the Winter Pack because if this addition of the aux heater which would be superseded by the Eberspacher

Just price them individually and then check against the price in a pack version. If pack works out any way cheaper than individual and you want and can afford it go for it I’d say. It will make things much easier than retrofitting them later on.
Believe me it’s a bollix to run wires through firewall on drivers side.
