Caddy Quattro build
Here’s a few pics from my build
Had the caddy a few years and got to a point where it just sat in the garage, so decided to do something with it...
1st job... remove the 1.9 TDI engine and terrible leaf spring set up
Then remove the engine and running gear from the donar car
Bolt the TFSI in
Wire it up
Quattro rear beam
All fitted up and back on all 4
TTRS fuel pump
VIS motorsport intercooler
CG motorsport clutch
Few Random pics
All done now, time to enjoy it

Re: Caddy Quattro build
Hi Dan, welcome to the forum.
I've been following your build on Instagram, it's interesting to see the details you hadn't posted on there or I had missed. The independent rear installation looks great, have you always been using it as 4wd or did you try it as 2wd for a bit?
How do you find it?

Re: Caddy Quattro build
Hi Doc, 1st post since joining the forum in 2012, I had put daily pics on my Instagram story when I was in the process of building it, I done the engine and 4WD all in 1 go, it drives perfect now with the independent suspension, done a track day at donnington in it and it handles really well I’m happy with it..... for now.

Re: Caddy Quattro build
Was quite a bit involved with the Wiring, had to add a fair few things to convert to petrol and to get the AWD to work.
