Did you do anything to get it running better, best I can get normal driving is 55 odd MPG, dropping to high 40s on motorway

Tried to unlock the sliding door mechanisms. As I bought the vehicle it seems like they locked the 2 side sliding doors and can’t open it.

Engine is standard, and without emissions update. It’s lowered 40mm on the front.
I found that once I drive it much over 60mph the mpg really starts to drop, but with congested roads you rarely get anywhere much quicker. I was considering swapping to a T5.1, but I know the mpg will be considerably less.

Started carpeting back of the van. One side done now. Truly awful job to do and takes forever to do it on your own.

@audi5inline It's there since I removed it from underneath. Considering to get a space saver and fabricate some sort of bracket, so I can bolt it to the bulkhead

Had mine lowered, MK4 rear lights, electric windows fitted, and flat bottom steering wheel, all fitted by Caddy solutions.

@audi5inline It's an awful place for the spare wheel, I can't imagine myself laying on the ground in the rain and trying to remove that spare wheel

Love those lights. I need some for mine but struggling to find what to go for. Are they smoked and did you go for the LHD version to keep the 2 x reverse lights?

I mostly just drove it today, since I got it new on saturday! It's a 1.2 TSI maxi version, so I still have to get used to driving such a 'big' car..

Loving it so far!

Things I would like to change in the future are:
  • New rims
  • Add cruise control
  • New ICE unit, for using google maps, google assistant and phone calls
  • MFSW (would it also be possible to just add a MFSW and code in the cruise control?)
  • New leather seats
