Paint codes

Hi all just had the rear quarter of my van repainted as was scratched the garage used the paint code for the van but it’s about 3 shades out anyone found this my van is dark metallic blue cheers

Take it back and tell them to paint it the correct shade would be my advice.

I had my reflex silver Caddy painted due to accident damage in July. They did the passenger wing, door, and sliding door....the rear panel, which didn't need painting, stood out like a sore thumb!!! And this was from a VW bodyshop. Told them I wasn't happy, they repainted the entire side, and now its perfect!

That sounds very disappointing. To a refinisher the code should only be a basic guide. there's more variants raven on a base colour than you'd think.
And metallics are worse still. Certainly take it back.

Spoke to my paint guy he’s shown me four different shades so he going to blend it cheers
