As my 1.6tdi does a regen every 50miles after having ecu replaced possibly with ea189 update after independent garage downloading info for it from vw now decided to try this. 10quid a bottle and lowers the burning point of the soot. My injectors went and filled the exhaust full of diesel too which could not have helped dpf.
After third of tank regeneration went to 80 miles after full tank now at 130 miles. Wow what a difference in fuel consumption. Now trying shell vpower and another bottle to see if it improves. Was doing 34mpg now up to 37.5. Food for thought

Well 3 days driving and no regen. I used to have it once or twice a day. Appears that the wynns dpf cleaner is helping.

Well it was good whilst it lasted. Back to 60 miles between regens again with normal diesel. EA189 Rollback coming
