Sunroof/Panoramaroof Caddy

Hi guys,

I have got an impression that there are some cars with rear sunroof latch options on Caddy 4 and onwards as options rarely added (Common if you might be a surfer), But have any of you guys seen a Caddy 3(facelift) with either sunroof or panorama skyview roof as oem?

The only thing I’ve ever seen is this. It’s called a ladder light apparently and is very rare, but is OEM. The van is about a 54 plate too. I’m not sure for how many model years it was an option.

Factory sunroof was never an option.
There are possibly some aftermarket options.

The ladder hatch was available from 2004-2020 but a very very rare find. If I remember correctly there was a fleet of UK Caddys from 2006 or 2007 which had these.

Thanks for the info. will have my 2nd search up for the OEM option ladder type, If someone knows or come by about a "oem" like aftermarket/retrofit option with the sunroof further front or panorama, please don't mind to share;-) Lets see maybe its a custom "retrofit"...

I’m sure a full length panoramic roof could be retrofitted. As for removing metal, it wouldn’t be a million miles away from installing a pop top. Depends on how much money you want to spend.

Would replacing the roof panel with a Touran Panoramic Sunroof panel be feasible (albeit expensive!)

There's a Caddy which has popped up in a couple of DTE's vids which has a panoramic sunroof fitted. IIRC it's from a Mini or something like that? I'll try and find a video when I get home.

OK, I will have a look on that as well.But, Meanwhile in the research I have found that in our regional brochure in Norway from when the Caddy was new for sale/order at dealer there was a option to add inn roof oem in our country:(Page 27 in the brochure)
