Just spent the afternoon recessing the speakers as they were sticking out too much and causing problems.

Looking nice. I remember you and your short nosed velle from back in the day when I was active on the T4 Forum.

Your caddy looks like a great buy. Yep 3 countries on and I still have a blue/black VW with Gurt big spots on it.

Hi Niklouse !

I have a question about your rear spoiler . What kind of fixture will you use ?
Do want to drill wholes for some screws in the back doors or do you stick it with maybe tiger seal ?
Or an other solution ?

Power “wall” is in.
Just one 240v socket and an outlet to the charger.

Everything else is 12v

Redoing the LEDs as the low cost ones were crap.

Belts done. Something I won’t skimp on.

Have been following other peoples post on cost which has been interesting.

Some of the prices people have been putting out there must not have included things like the water pump etc.

Anyway both belts changed. Water pump and coolant. Had the oil and filter changed at the same time.

Labour 4.5hours. Total cost £720 a bit more than I expected.

More working out what/how to do what I want on the inside.

Found that the “gaskets” that came with the rear door spoilers were actually both for the small door version.

OPPs.
Well they are on. Bolted. Will add some sealant as well.

Saw another just down the road. Currently seeing different ones every weekend.

Hinges changed. The whistle has gone.
Only changed the door leaf of the upper hinge.

The whole just was made fun with the previous owner running speaker cable through the connector rather than re pinning it.
