Hi, mate. Love the ride height! I have a Maxi Life and am wondering how you've gone about lowering yours? I know about the comfort leaf springs on the back and have read in other posts how they can sit close to the ground once lowered? I had planned on going down eibach route, but they are not suitable for the life? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Cheers guys!

I lowered using the Vmaxx kit for 55mm struts and I have to say - all very good. I cut the front helper spring off as it was simply too low to the ground and I feared ripping the rear axle off some stage. Weight wise, I've carried a fair bit on and off without issue. The life has a bed system with five front seats but also another set up with office desk middle row out so very versatile.

I'm also running different rims now:

off an Exeo sport but painted satin grey.

Van will soon be up for sale as I have just bought a bigger van - needed for the business.....;-(

Would you mind getting under the van and photographing how/where you cut the leaf please, bud?

Thanks, Jonesy

Hi...has anyone experienced this. When driving into a driveway with a slight inclination, the part of the leaf spring that is attached the the rear hangers hit the ground.

I also have double springs...problem only occurs ocassionally when I enter a driveway with a slight gradient of about 20 to 30 degrees... front wheels first enter and the vehicle tips like a see-saw and end of the leaf spring sometimes make contact with the ground as the front is elevated.

Well, I have Darkside axle flip kit and (touch wood) have never had the comfort leaf spring catch on anything.
