Van looking so much better than when you got it. Already a lot of hard work gone into it, well done.

Cheers buddy, it's been going Ok just need to start buying parts. Moving out for the 1st time is alot more expensive than I thought haha.

Little update coming tomorrow nothing major though.

I have sourced a white wing and door and various other parts that need replacing :)

A little update. Seems I have had to put everything on pause as that van f*cked up. Worn cam lobe and work lifters seems to be the issue. Sourced here http://www.myturbodiesel.com/wiki/camsh ... pd-engine/

While waiting for my parts I've been busy machine polishing the van. Even the roof. That was hard work.

I'll update it when all my parts come from the darkside...

So all the parts came from darkside developments. Then a few trips to tps and a lovely £700 bill. The van is BACK! Never been so happy. First time I'd ever done a head rebuild. But cambelt and waterpump done for another 70k miles.

Now I can properly start with the modifications. Watch this space.

Been a while since I done anything to the van after not being paid and owed a fair amount funds are still low but hey Ho I've done a few bits here and there...

I started by carpeting the cab which was a bitch to do,

I managed to fit some alloys that where sitting in the garage for ages just need to get a set of tyres to fit them but this is a teaser

Image

Next up some wind deflectors. How I have waited so long to buy these I do not know.

Image

Then a mate came over for a little detailing...

NO DAMAGE ANYMORE!!!

Image

Finally I got some audi a3 sline air vents, can't get them flush at the top though with is a little annoying, turned them upside down for a better fit but still a gap at the top.

Only done 1 at the moment until I find a way of fitting them properly.

A big transformation from when you got it! Whoever owned that van clearly didn't have the time of day for it.

Talking about him. I went to see him yesterday and saw his new van. A 2010 transit is on its way to being ruined also. Shame really.

Cheers.

Just a little update, I filled all the panels with insulation today and fitted lino in the back and underlay under the ply. Much quieter now hardly any road noise now,

Today I had the liberty of fitting a chrome switch which I mistakenly ordered the auto version. Turns out it works on auto. I didnt even realise I had the sensor :)
