Thanks ! I like them ...going to run with them for a while ..but have been thinking of going down to 18's just because they might be a bit less harsh and cheaper on tyres ...I'm down to 4mm on front budgets so will see what tyres I can get later on this year

Well spoke to chris wells at cc tuning in burton on trent today ...top guy who writes his own maps and maps for other tuners ...taking mine in next month and will get it data logged and have a session on the rollers to see what sort of map the previous owner had installed ....I'm sure I will end up getting it mapped again as at least I know then what map is on it and who has done it

Decided to get dirty today and clean my scuttle out Image
Image
It wasn't too bad but had quite a few leaves in there ..also took the nearside wheel arch liner out to clean out any crap that had built up in there
Image
While that was out I tidied up the horn wiring ..I didn't solder the wires when I did my twin horns so put that right and used loom tape to cover
Image
Then finished off with a hoover inside

Decided to fit my air vent rings tonight
Image
Image
Image
Really pleased with them ..think they lift the interior nicely ...took a bit to fit ..the you tube video shows you cleaning up the inside of the ring to fit ..but in the end I found it fit better if left sharp at the edge ...you do need to gently bend them to fit as the vent isn't a flat circle ...on another note I went to fit these
Image
Got them off ebay ..I measured the center bore of wheel and it was 70mm so ordered 70mm but they clips are too tight and it kept snaping off the clips ..utter crap ..should of tried vw ones ..still need to replace caps but don't know what make my reps are ....
Also my mate took a photo of mine and his T5 camper at work today

Ok so I've started to source chrome switches ..now I've bought Chinese one's before and ran them on a mk5 golf for a couple of years so know they work ok ...so I can find every switch apart from mirror switch unless I go genuine ..so thought I would try this ...
Image
One Chinese golf mirror switch
Image
Using plastic trim tools I popped the knob off
Image
Did the same to my vw switch and fitted the knob ...one looking oem chrome switch for £7.99
