I know Nick has one in his caddy but are they plug and play. And how do I get a mic in the van for it please.

Yes they are. You just have to install gps aerial. The mic is normally mounted in the interior light. Theres a special slot for it there. You might have to change the light tho as theres ones with and without the slot. You will know by looking at the light. It should have rectangular shape mesh cutout. Like in this light unit.
You also need quick job with vcds

Correct, you will have to select it in your can gateway.
Id say that link is good and 4m length should be more than plenty to run across the dash into headliner.

Cheers, Hopefully getting the stereo on Thursday/Friday. Have ordered the cable and found a touran light fitting with the mic grille too.

Well all in and mic is in, And bonus was no coding needed. Bluetooth works a treat as does the sat nav, Well will be even better when I get a gps ariel but hey hoo. And the phone info comes up on the centre display in the instrument cluster.

I fitted mine about 12 months ago and love it, but still cannot use the Bluetooth... anyone know someone in Northern Ireland who can code these?

Oh right, Mine was literally plug and Play, No coding what so ever. Maybe it has something to do with me having the highline cluster out of a facelft caddy????? I don't know. Several people on the caddy club uk classifieds page said it would need coding. But it just works.

Hmm, are you sure your RNS supports it?
There's RNS 310 no bt and RNS 315 with bt.
Post the part number of the unit if you have it so we will know 100%.
I think with RNS 315 with bt unit you only have to enable navigation in your can gateway and off it goes with working phone etc as it's integrated. I wouldn't think you would need to enable the phone address as well like with separate bt modules fitted under the seats.
