Ex British Gas van locks

Post by Matt_2k »

Has anyone removed rear locks from an ex fleet vehicle and has one going spare? The orange ones?
I believe they are made by a company called TVG. I know a local dealer but they are not cheap
and I want one as visual deterrent more than anything else.

Thanks

Don't the new vans have black smaller locks similar to the orange ones in shape

Seems like they are a right pain to get off then. May just have to buy one and get them to fit it.
I think the lock alone was around £130, and that's probably ex-vat.

However I was thinking of getting a slam lock so I could use it as a wiper delete.

Anyone rigged up a slam lock so that it works not as a slam lock but more as an extra lock?
My brother has the lock set up on his van but not sure how it's done
