Wiltshires Black 2.0 TDI

Post by Stu wiltshire »

Thought I would start my own thread in here now that I'm making a few changes to the caddy.
So bought this a few months back ..
Spec :
2011 2.0 TDI 140 6 speed
Black
AC
EW
Front fogs
Vmaxx coilovers
19" Audi R8 V10 reps
Sliding door cover
Sportline side bars
Nappa leather retrimmed seats.
Capered rear with vinyl wood effect floor.
Led number plate lights

I've now decided to change the wheels as the R8 wheels weren't really my cup of tea so I've gone for some genuine 19" VW Motorsport rims. They turned up today so I got a bit excited.

Will hopefully get them fitted on the weekend and il get some more pics up.
I've also decided that I want to take the side bars off as I'm also not a fan of them? Plus I want to go a bit lower, so that's another job for the weekend.
Other plans for the future are to get it mapped, highline clocks , flat bottom steering wheel and maybe some door cards.
Hope you all like it.

Looks the biz mate. Be nice to see it with those new wheels on it. Are you thinking of selling those side bars? If so how much?

Yeah once they are off, I will clean them off and sell them, probably around £100

So last night I sealed the wheels with Gtechnic C5 and today I got round to fitting the tyres and then sticking them on the caddy.

The van needs a clean and the rear needs lowering a bit to match the front but I'm happy with how they look and you get the jist. Il get some better pics tomorrow.
I've also now taken the side bars of and it looks very bare and weird. I'm hoping I just get use to it.

I'm not really a fan of chrome and there's far to many speed bumps around my way.

So I'm still not 100%, but I do like it. Just looks a bit like a roller skate now.

I like these wheels also seen on eBay but wasn't sure what they would look like
They fill the wheel arch up
My only issue is getting the right load rated tyres ( maxi)
Still looks good on yours
104 bhp maxi - 6 speed o2q conversion - rcd 510 dab c/w Bluetooth & mdi - remap 162 bhp - facelift highline cluster - caddy 4 tail lights - 19” vw motorsport alloys - bilstein/eibach sportline suspension - r32 front brakes - scirocco front seats - caddy life centre console - mk6 flat bottom mfsw - caddy 4 folding mirrors

Those wheels like the business - just been looking on ebay for a set. I see they are available in 8J x 19 with ET41, what ET are yours?

Thanks
