The Varta E44 silver dynamic is the same battery as the Bosch S5008 and is slightly cheaper too. From what I have read elsewhere Varta makes the batteries for Bosch. So if you buy the Bosch S5008 battery just remember it is a Varta battery with the Bosch logo on and also a little bit dearer.

Thanks good to know.

I have done some research on battery drain so will connect my mult meter is series and see if any significant current is being drawn, will then pull fuses to identify the offending circuit.....

Hi guys anyone ever have a problem with battery drain I unplugged the radio and turned off all interior lights but still getting dead battery after about 3 days any ideas much appreciated TIA

Hi anyone know if the 096 Bosch fits in upgraded golf battery cover I’m just about to fit?
