Engine ECU closedown Caddy 2.0SDI 2007
Hi there..new to this forum...maybe someone has suggestions..I have a 2007 Caddy 2.0Sdi that wont start...no engine management or glow plug light....no diesel going to the engine....scanned it and came up with ECU Closedown...check ecu plug for power...no power going to it...changed 100 RELAY in fuse box...no joy...problem with a broken wire somewhere I think...does anyone have any idea where to look without pulling it all apart...someone said wires break around wiper motor...any ideas...HELP!!!

I'd check the loom in the engine bay, below and in front of the battery.
It is quite common for the wires to chafe in under the loom tape, eventually they short circuit or break.
