my lowering kit arrives tomorrow il be installingbit myself but have no alloys chosen yet so il wait til the weekend to fit them

Yeah works well on mk4, the coin tray in the centre console is exactly the right size. Caddyluv has done it too using alternative method - rather than use a generic retrofit kit, he's modified a USB desk charger with a 12v -> USB socket, cost less than Ā£25 if you're handy with a soldering iron and shrink-wrap. It's written up in the "How To" section. My method cost a little more but ultimately took 30 minutes start to finish.

Thats interesting to know i have a wireless charger thing for my samsung once i have permission to look at the how to section ill give it a go plus my dads a electrician so he could always help give him something different to do

The caddy looks great, very nice indeed. Can I ask if it was a conscious decision to do the body mods before looking at a remap?

Yes it was a decision I made for 2 reasons - first one, it's not too sluggish as standard (150TDI), and the second, I wanted to run it in standard first, get some miles on and a service/oil change out of the way, make sure there were no return to dealer type issues before increasing to 190bhp.

Ahh, that makes perfect sense especially if it's already pulling 150bhp like you say, that's no too shabby in its self. My new caddy is stock at 102bhp & is like driving a brick so it's an early mod for me I think.
