6 speed 02M driveshafts to fit caddy.

Post by Gafn95 »

Hi everyone, I’ve just put the ASZ lump in my caddy with a BMM 2.0 turbo and I’m having trouble with the driveshafts now what has people used when doing this conversion to the 6 speed 02M? I’m aware of changing the CV joints to caddy ones but I can’t seem to find the correct spline to do this?

Cheers

Hi @Gafn95 welcome to the forum.
Your engine code and turbo will make no difference to the driveshafts required.
Most important is the gearbox have you used.

The long standing solution for people fitting a ERF, DRW or other mk4 generation 1.9TDI gearbox was to use the compatible mk4 drive shafts and replace the outer CV with that original to the caddy. OE shafts and CVs have the same spline configuration.
