yep dremel is way to go I used with a file/bur and made short work of it

Nice van and liking the interior! How was the touran glove box to fit with the caddy dash, was there much cutting needed to fit it in?

Havnt been on here in awhile as have been up to my eyes lately (house renovation) disaster but back at it with the caddy last few days have got some more work completed on it will post some pics soon..

Thanks mate sorry late reply but yet there is a good bit of cutting and head scratching involved in the glovebox but worth it in the endImage

Cutting the glovebox was if hard?
Had toyed with idea if i was able to get a cheap one
Remove the tabs and move along

Tho ended up with a door just (easier for me)
Just ashame no lock (main reason i would have liked)

But defo looks cool

Yea nice to have an operational glovebox 100% there is lot of cutting to do on the dash side plastic and a metal bracket will need to be cut out in order for glovebox to fit in...

So got most of my sound deadening and insulation installed incl floor and rear doors ect..just roof needs to be done and front doors...also received my seat belt fitting plates so will get them installed soon.ImageImageImageImageImageImage

Calipers painted and new front splitter fitted..

Cheers lads,yea side rail cover and rear spoiler is on my very big to do list...

Also just purchased mk5 golf gti 272bhp full car to do a conversion on the caddy

Just doing my homework on the conversion process and source someone to sort the wiring for it...
