Re: My new caddy
Thank you!
Decided to slap the life mirrors, and the one touran door card i have so far on the van today
The mirror caps needs painting as one is white and one silver, gonna go for black metallic, along with a few other details in the same color later on.
Looks hella funny with the stock card on the drivers door still, but i'll pick one up as soon as i find a good condition matching one.

Re: My new caddy
Snuff
Did you choose the T5 over the T6 for a reason ?
Or am I mistaken that you can get a wiper from a T6 ?
Do you recall the part number for the one you got ?
Was it just the wiper arm (and blade) you had to change - no other nuts bolts etc, just using the original caddy fixtures ?

Re: My new caddy
They both use the same wipers!
you have all the relevant part numbers in this thread
https://www.caddy2k.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=22166
straight fit on the caddy splines and you can use the original nut aswell.

Re: My new caddy
mk4 tails on.
I do love how this thing drives with all the performance upgrades it has, but im not sure the no DPF life is for me in the long run, all this soot is getting kinda annoying i can wash it thoroughly, and have it be just as sooty again the same day as if i never washed it in the first place
Im concidering to chop the tail pipes off and do turndowns instead, tucked away out of sight behind the new bumper im getting, i guess that would reduce the ammount of soot sticking to the back of the van

Re: My new caddy
Thank you!
I've been doing a ton of work to this thing the past week, getting it ready for a event tomorrow, not really documented much but i'll post a bit after the weekend is over. It's starting to take shape!

Re: My new caddy
So what ive done the past week or so:
- Changed and painted both front fenders, both new oem panels
- Sand blasted and painted the side rail cover
- Repaired, shaved the head light washers and painted the front bumper
- Changed the hood i painted previously
- Painted and installed a mk4 rear bumper, with the dark reflectors, started out as a textured bumper with parking sensors, sanded smooth and holes shaved
- Installed led number plate lights
- Changed the headlights
- Changed turn signals
- Repaired rust and painted the passenger side door
- Painted the mirror caps, front and rear emblems, and the chrome trim on the touran grill in c9x black metallic
- Tinted the fog lights, to hide the stone chips as my new ones would not arrive on time
- Restored the tow hook with some fresh paint and new bolts
- Cut the tips off my Miltek exhaust and added 60 degree turn downs instead, MASSIVELY reduced soot on the back of the van!
- Installed aftermarket ac control knobs
- Lots of cleaning and polishing
Got so carried away stressing with this that i mostly forgot to document it
