Got the translation now.

A bit of fabrication today as drilling holes in the bumper cross beam was not happening last weekend.

Also sorting out the wiring for the fog/driving lamps.
Tomorrow new harness for the “Elk spotters” and connect up the rest.

Picked up 2 lengths of 20mm hollow section. But before getting started with that it’s time for other things.

Air vent will be changed over the weekend when I will also be making a start on the interior.

Those that have done similar will know why the spark plug socket is on there.

the low profile makes it less noticeable
did it slot straight into your old hole or did you have to make some adjustments ?

what did you use the rivnuts on ?

The hole needed enlarging.

Rivnuts and cabinet bolts to hold the panels on.

Come in a selection of lengths and have a nice big head.

or, replace with a similar product

they look pretty flat, do u have any pics of the nuts by themselves ?

Yes M6.
The holes for the VW plastic fixings needs enlarging as many don’t have much room behind using a socket etc as a stop works well.

As the headliner joiner was not present. A strip of 3mm alloy. Rivnuts and cabinet bolts. Will coming off after it has set in shape and will get covered in vinyl .
