Hi. Caddy 2KN, 2012 model. Electric climate controls.
I get no air from my defroster vents. Reading out the error codes yields:
B1 09D71 - Air distribution door motor - Actuator jammed - Passive/sporadic.
I can change between blowing air on my feet and face, so that works.
Is it possible to open the door from the vent openings with something thin, like a screwdriver? I'd get the motor swapped but I believe that requires taking the entire dash out, which is a bit over my head at the moment. Winter is coming (heh, game of thrones reference) and defrosting my windshield is a priority.
Any ideas?
No air through defroster vents. Can I open the vent doors manually?

Same issue here. What was the solution if you got it fixed?
