Hi fellow members, quick hopefully question. Looking at buying a donor car to take the engine box from for my van, I've sourced an EOS but it's miles away from me in Warrington and it has little or no history. Would 156K put you off ? Anyone in that area with VAGcom could do a chain reading for me ?
I've had a MK4 R32 before, sold it because the chains were stretched ( notified the next owner ) as I was getting married and couldn't afford it at the time, now retired, walk dogs and play a lot of golf. I really fancy another 3.2 dsg, for running around. 2.0 tfsi at a push but i want the noise, not bothered about the tuning / speed.

158 miles would put me off especially with no history.
