Respray - Reflex Silver - Opinions wanted

So I washed down the van the order day (06 Mk3) and was a little to keen with the pressure washer.

I know the van had a respray on the drivers sill before but didn’t realise just how bad the paint job was.
I managed to/deliberately blew off most of the paint under the trim line the whole way along the side.

This combined with various knocks and dings has me tempted to tidy up and respray the van on a tight budget given it’s a work van and it’s age.

Tempted to change colour code but van is currently reflex silver.
What are peoples opinions on other silver colour codes.
Doesn’t have to be a VW code either !

Do I maintain the reflex silver or change it up ?

Cant see any point in changing a silver shade buddy?? Why wouldn’t you use the standard reflex?? Different if you were doing a colour change but pointless if not!

I do a bit of painting just for myself really and I think reflex is lovely, although one of the most difficult to paint as is any silver!

That's a tidy wee van !
The colour coded trim looks great.
What mirrors are those - far better than the standard Micky Mouse ears.

Yea it's looking like reflex silver and colour coded trim is the next step !

Seeing as most pressure washers struggle to get all the dirt off without a bit of help. Just how bad was that paint job?
