Post by Vanmandan »

I've got Caddy mats on my Touran carpets. I had to swap the retainer things out as the Touran ones were a different shape but you can buy them on Amazon.

Mats themselves are interchangeable it is just the fixings to the floor that changed dependant on year.

There are two types, round or oval. check to see which you have in the carpet and then buy mats with the corresponding fixing.

The round ones just push on and the oval ones twist, to be honest you can swop the fixings in the carpet, it can just be a bit of a faff so best to buy mats that fit what you have.

Round fixings (Some are smooth on top, some have a screw top

Hope that helps.

I have the same setup, Mk3 Caddy with Toruan carpet and found https://www.carmats4u.com/volkswagen-ca ... -mats.html fitted nicely.

They sent me out a template to double check fitment which didnt have any holes however one email and that was sorted.

Just bought some cheap £23 ones from eBay with blue trim. Made the inside suddenly a lot more luxurious.

Mats wear out. OEM ones are great but expensive so I go for best quality budget ones.
