My Candy White 1.6
Hi guys I thought I'd start a thread of my own, not done much to it yet as been soo busy using it for work
Here it is when I went to look at it, it an 11 plate which had 15.5k on the clock and has electric windows, Mirrors and Aircon. Oh and it's a 102 tdi
So far I've clay bar'd it, polished and waxed it to keep it clean.
I then got some 10mm foam interlocking tiles for the back to make it easier to wipe out and is soft when I have to get in the back to get something, it also quietened down the road noise a little

Re: Candy 11
I picked up these fully refurbed 17 inch monzas to go on too and I have got an Eibach 45 mm lowering kit from the group buy on here. I may try the wheels on tomorrow to see how it looks, I wasn't going to put them on until it was lowered which should be happening next weekend hopfully

Re: Candy 11
Today was time for a bit of colour coding, so I whipped off the ,mirror casings
Gave the a quick going over with some 800 paper and then filler plastic primer
Then white primer
Then some paint
I can't wait to put these back on tomorrow and see what it looks like.
Also today I had a go a wrapping this
But mucked it up so painted it instead

I couldn't wait any longer I had to put them on, I don't think it looks too bad as it is, although my Eibach kit is being fitted next weekend

Re: Candy 11
I made up some panels out of 6mm ply and carpeted them to block of the grill sections of the bulkhead, I attached the ply to the grills with black cable ties which you can hardly see against the dark grey carpet.
It has made a big difference to the level of road noise coming from the back, also the front warms up quicker now too and stops the front getting so dusty as i use the van every day for work
