When i removed the roof bars from the previous owner it revealed some dents near to the mounting points.
Whats the best thing to do with these?
My new roof rails cover some but not all of the damage.
Theres a few small areas of rust so i was going to rub down, rust treatment them touch up.
Is there any point trying to fill them?
The white stuff is some sort of flexible sealant that i removed when making sure there wasnt a hole going right through

Re: Dents in roof
Can't you get a PDR (Paintless Dent Repair) chappie out to remove the dents then touch them up? You could fill them but that would make the repair area larger.
Most PDR guys will ask you to send a pic before giving a quote. Possibly circa £50 per dent though.

Re: Dents in roof
Id assumed that they wouldn't be able to get them out given the proximity to the recessed part for the roof mounts.
Worth a try to see what they can do though.
