These are my dirty Passat 7 seats, they need lots of cleaning , but for that price they are perfect 110bgn~ 50£ for the whole interior I’m gonna use Touran bases , do I need to drill holes in the bases to fit them or they are straight fit.

They look absolutely fantastic! Did you manage to get the wiring sorted too?

I’m looking to get some memory seats at some point for my 2017 Maxi but just spent a small fortune on getting my seats reupholstered in leather. Maybe I’ll get some seats in a year or two, and sell the set I have.

Looks so damn satisfying seeing those memory seats in a Caddy! I may even work on this sooner :)

I am not an expert on wiring so I got that part done by someone. Comparing it to B6 seats I have it may only be one extra wire. Control Unit is on the seat itself so it needs a bus.
Repairing seats gets expensive fast so I figured it is best to buy the best seats you can get your hands on. I got these from CC year 2016 like new and they got like 10+ sets ranging from vented memory to barebone leather but they remove airbag before storing/selling it and cut whatever wire stands in their way

‘@SEWI’ - Yeah, some breakers are ruthless removing parts.
Was fitting straight forward enough or did you have to chop and shop for additional parts etc?

I soldered the wires back myself and used parts from B6 seats (airbag, seat buckle ann some wiring) but fitting the airbags was an upholster job. I had no clue how to dismantle it and would only damage it.
Mechanical side was simple bolt on with Touran bases

Hi all,

I have got a good offer on a pair of seats from a Porsche Macan.
One of the seats has a blown airbag, but thats i just se as a challenge to solve ;)

But does any one know if I can bolt them to the original bases or just some slight modification to make them fit my 2016 caddy?

as I'm new here its a bit limited on what i can search for..

Thanks.
Now I just have figure out how I will get a power wire from the battery to the cabin.
Want to have a powersourse for accessories and maybe a sub..

And work on getting my post count up so I can have access to the good stuff.

I’ve just picked up some Audi s-line heated seats for my maxi…
Can’t wait to get stuck into changing them. Bought an 8mm metal drill bit in anticipation 😂
